My musical biography
Agnė Pasaravičienė is a younger-generation Lithuanian composer & pianist who combines the elements of modern jazz and contemporary classical music in her compositions and performing style. Agnė creates music for different instrument setups like solo piano, piano & double bass chamber duo, and a modern jazz quartet.
In 2021 Agnė got her Master's degree from the Royal Academy of Music in Aalborg (Denmark). Since then, she is both actively performing in Denmark and Lithuania as a bandleader & sidewoman, and at the same time, is gaining recognition as a composer in international competitions for music composers.
Among her most recent achievements are:
The 2nd place prize in the “XII Piano Composition Competition Fidelio” for piano composition “Ain’t No Plan(et) B” (2021)
The 4th place diploma in “XII Piano Composition Competition Fidelio” for piano composition “Perpetuum Mobile” (2021)
Selection to participate in the semi-finals of “MArte Live Europe” contest with original music portfolio (2021)
Selection to represent the Aalborg jazz scene in the compilation record with jazz quartet piece “Get Well Soon” (2021)
The 2nd place prize in “The USA Music Composition International Competition" held by IYMC for piano composition “Ain’t No Plan(et) B” (2021)
An absolute gold medal winner with a jazz quartet composition “Threat and Opportunity Share the Same Face” in “The USA Music Composition International Competition" held by IYMC (2022)
